COWBOY STORY (official title tba) is a fantastical western and the second installment of the Canon storyline.

Now resurrected from the grave and fumbling into his freshly given life, we follow Sal on his journey to uncover what happened in the past eight years he spent under ground. And where has his family gone?

Across the country, lawman and all round bastard, Joenie is plagued by his duty to the goddess of War. Afflicted with immortality and cursed to serve, Joenie is promised his freedom after one final job. A doubtful promise but in the centuries he's lived not once has War offered such things.

Sal and Joenie seem destined to meet as their paths lead them directly to one another.

On the sidelines this story runs parallel to the events of Pecan and Joenie's own somewhat tragic love story.

Following a trail to find Joenie, Pecan stumbles into the world of gods where he meets the goddess Aphrodite. In the absence of the man he was looking for, the two fall in love and Aphrodite blesses him with a son. The young godling Cupid.

Joenie returns to meet this new child, surprised when he finds Pecan, the father. Rekindling an old flame comes quickly as Pecan and Joenie find joy in the potential of creating their own strange little family raising a godling together. Maybe now Joenie won't stray too far, maybe he can even stay after one last job War had planned for him.
